Shichida UK offers structured, multi-sensory developmental classes in Reading that support baby cognitive growth, memory and emotional connection through interactive play, music and sensory engagement. Specialising in whole-brain early learning for babies and young children (6 months to 6 years), the programme is rooted in over 60 years of neurodevelopmental research and has reached more than 1 million children across 19 countries. Certified educators run fast-paced, parent-accompanied sessions that build foundations for critical thinking, early literacy and photographic memory. Unlike typical playgroups, the Shichida Method uses high-speed visual input, sensory-integration games and spatial puzzles. Classes are intimate and capped at six children.

What age range do you teach?

We work with babies and young children from 6 months to 6 years. Activities are adapted to each stage of development within that range.

Where are your classes held?

Classes are held in Reading. Each session follows the globally proven Shichida approach described in our programme.

What happens during a typical session?

Sessions are fast-paced and parent-accompanied, combining interactive play, music and sensory engagement. They also include high-speed visual input, sensory-integration games and spatial puzzles to build memory, problem-solving and emotional connection.

Do parents need to stay for classes?

Yes, sessions are parent-accompanied so caregivers participate alongside their child. Our certified educators guide families through each activity to ensure learning is effective and supportive.

Shichida is an absolute must for any baby / child Imparting over 60 years plus of research of how to stimulate our daughter and maximise her potential thanks to Shichida. I signed up my daughter for Shichida in 2022. My daughter was 3 and speech delayed. She took some time to get used to the lessons and the new environment, but through the support of the staff and their teaching methods, she not only grew to enjoy the sessions, but gained confidence in her skills. I definitely accredit her excellent memory, love for mathematics and her attitude towards learning to Shichida and their unique ability to tailor learning to children of all developmental abilities. I would definitely recommend and advise parents to try for themselves. I recommend patience and consistency for the best results!

Shichida classes have really helped our daughter in developing her picture memory and speech. She started at 7 months, and enjoys coming to these classes. She already speaking over 100 words and numbers at 20 months. Shichida has great framework to suit the kids of all age. I would recommend these classes to every parent who are keen to support their mental development and learning capabilities.

Through fun based activities provided by Shichida program I can see the improvement on my child's concentration, confidence, memory and speech in the early age. I am glad that we attended the lessons together in the past 2 and half years that also helped us strengthen our parent-child relationship.
